Skin's Favorite Balm was created in November of 2016 with everyone in mind, yet an emphasis on people with skin sensitivities such as eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, etc. It all began when I became pregnant with my oldest daughter and needed a product to keep my skin moisturized and lessen my chances of getting stretch marks. I searched high and low for a product in stores and online, but I kept coming up short. There wasn't a product out there that had all natural ingredients and was chemical free. The products that I came across had "All Natural" on the label yet when you checked the ingredients the lotions and butters were filled with chemicals. Therefore with my background as a nurse, I knew my anatomy and that the skin is the largest organ that our body has and everything is absorbed and excreted through it. I also knew that everything that went into my body would not only effect me but would effect my baby as well. All of this then motivated me to do some research on all natural ingredients that were great for preserving moisture and elasticity in the skin. As I began doing research that is when I found the ingredients that are in our Skin's Favorite Balm. After that the balm was created and I was the first customer. As my belly grew and my skin stretched I was confident in the product that I was putting on my skin and had no concerns about any chemicals effecting my daughter, because there were none! And after giving birth I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had no stretch marks and my skin was healthy. Then about a month after having my daughter I discovered that she had eczema and her skin went from bad to worse very quickly. After one dermatologist visit and some additional research about the skin condition I was able to come up with the regimen that you now know as Skin's Favorite Balm. This balm would remain a staple in our home because after giving birth to my youngest daughter she also had developed a severe case of eczema. Yet, if you were to see my daughter's today, you would never know that they had eczema and the level of severity that they had it. They now have the most beautiful skin and you can too.
