Our Story

The story behind From Ashes to Beauty comes from the scripture Isaiah 61:3. The passage states, "To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified." This scripture inspired me because in April of 2016 I went through a season of ashes right before I got pregnant with my oldest child. I suffered a loss of pregnancy due to some complications. I was hurt and questioned God of why I was going through this and why He would give me a glimpse of what I've always dreamt of, then take it from me. While going through that season of ashes I found comfort in this scripture that He will give us beauty for our ashes. 

 

Now fast forward to three almost four years later, I have two beautiful daughters that are three and two years old. I just give all praise to God because not only did He give me beauty for my ashes, he also gave me double for my trouble. Amen. 

 

I always held on to that scripture and said I would use the name "From Ashes to Beauty" to glorify God in some way. Then last year in May God gave the vision of a Christian clothing line. He said that it would be used to spread the Gospel and the love of God, which are one in the same. Therefore the mission of "From Ashes to Beauty" is to spread the word of God to unbelievers and believers of Jesus Christ that others may be won over by the love and truth of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

 

Mark 28: 19-20

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen
